When the Tony Monaco and the Howard Paul Trio take the Tybee Post Theater stage, audiences can expect a spontaneous alchemy similar to their album "New Adventures." The Album is a tribute to Jimmy Smith and Wes Montgomery's classic album "Further Adventures." Monaco and Paul share a musical vocabulary and didn't have a prepared set list when they entered the studio. Amazingly, the entire album was recorded in 6 hours. "When you do B-3 stuff, it's all one gigantic palette of tunes that fit with the B-3 and guitar," explains Paul. "Somebody once described the B-3 and guitar as 'peanut butter and jelly'. Inseparable."

Savannah Children’s Museum will bring 18 th century children's games and activities to Savannah History Museum, including an area to sign the Declaration of Independence with a quill pen.

Hop on over to Georgia State Railroad Museum for Summer Steam Days and see our 1913 coal-fired steam locomotive in action.

At Savannah Children's Museum, participate in 4th of July-themed crafts and activities all day! On-site Sunday at Savannah Children’s Museum visitors can have a Centrifugal Celebration with firework spin art and celebratory noisemakers. Savannah Children’s Museum will also be kicking off their “Local History” themed week on July 4 th with many activities that explore Savannah’s unique past.

The monthly live music variety show presents three outstanding energetic acts: Ray Tomasino and his band High Velocity, Nightingale News and The Accomplices drummer and vocal stunner Stan Ray opening the show. Nightingale News's sound is a whirlwind mix of bluegrass/southwestern rock fronted by lead singer and bassist Coy Campbell. He's called upon the city's Americana and country pros to fill out the band, Markus Kuhlmann on drums and vovals, The Train Wrecks' Stu Harmening on guitar, Rachael Shaner on double bass and Igor Fiksman on pedal steel. High Velocity, fronted by lead guitarist Ray Tomasino, are veteran country and southern rockers, who will take you on a nostalgic journey through Lynerd Skynerd, Steeley Dan, Allman Brothers, and Charlie Daniels to their own dynamic originals. Also on board honky tonk keyboardist Steve Klahr, drummer Glen Smith and Ronnnie Able on bass guitar.
