Tybee Island Pirate Fest is your ultimate destination for Columbus Day weekend entertainment. Warming up for our Friday and Saturday night headliners, several bands will keep the crowd moving throughout the afternoons and early evening. Daytime entertainment includes live music, pirate performers, street performers, magicians, puppeteers, weaponry demonstrations, and few surprises in between. Tybee Island Pirate Fest is fun for pirates of all ages. Our littlest pirates enjoy an entire area devoted to quality family entertainment.

Activities include bounce houses, magicians, storytellers, puppets, live pirate demonstrations, face painting, and many more surprises. With 65 years of tradition and good memories to build on, this event will be better than last year's. The annual festival will feature homemade Greek foods, desserts, Greek dancing, church tours, market place, a live band, and so much more during the three-day celebration of Greek food, music, and heritage. Hosted in the St. Paul's Hellenic Center, our three-day festival attracts thousands of visitors each year. These visitors come to enjoy the food, shopping, music, dancing, and atmosphere of the Greek culture.

The Annual Savannah Folk Music Festival begins at 7 PM on Friday October 9, 2015, in Ellis Square with "FOLKFEST" showcasing Savannah Folk Music Society Members.

This event is a showcase for the quality and diversity in musical talent found among members of the Savannah Folk Music Society with performances that will span the range of Traditional, Old Time, Blues, International, Folk Revival, and Contemporary music

Fall is the best time for planting in our region. Come to CGBG either of these two days to browse for plants from an array of nursery vendors or shop for garden-related tools and decor from other local suppliers' booths outdoors. Take time to sit in on free garden lectures at the Lakeside Pavilion and of course take a walk in the gardens before you leave. Parking limited and fee charge per vehicle.

Join us Saturday October 24, 2015 from Noon-5:00 for the 10th annual WAG-O-WEEN! This annual Trick-or Treat fundraising event is in it's 10th year promises to be fun for the whole family especially the furry members! Maps & wristbands are available at Canine Palace on Bull St Oct 17-23 OR Oct 24, day of the event, pick up your wristband, map, and goodie bag for a $5/person donation at 447 Bull St, Armstrong House . Follow the map to visit over 100 businesses and Treat or Treat with your canine companion. No Tricks or typos here. It's all Treats-for both you and the dogs. Dress in costume and enter the prize winning costume contest for donation. There will be many fabulous raffle items so be sure to bring some extra $. ALL proceeds go to local pet rescue agencies. Held in Forsyth Park, one of Savannah's largest and most charming public areas, on the 4th Sunday of each October from 11 am until 3 pm, the festival draws about 10,000 attendees annually. Participants of all ages will enjoy a taste of ethnic Jewish cuisine as well as family entertainment including music and dance.

There is no admission charge for the festival. Food purchases are by tickets, which are sold in advance (and at a discount) at the temple office, and at the event (at full price). Gift items can be purchased by cash and by credit or debit card.

To participate pick up your trick-or-treat bag the day of at the staff tent across from the Rousakis Plaza Arbor Stage (across from Tubby's River Street).

Ditch the candy and Trick-or-Treat for drink specials on River Street at the 3rd Annual CRAWL-O-WEEN! This Halloween pub crawl will feature select bars & restaurants on River Street. Crawl along the cobblestones at your own pace while enjoying drink specials along the way.

Tickets are $10 per person and includes a souvenir cup.

Check-in and day of registration begin at 7pm at the SWA Staff Tent on the Rousakis Plaza Arbor Stage (across from Tubby's on River Street). Crawling hours are 7pm-midnight. Participants who complete their crawl card before midnight will be eligible for the raffle drawing.

Hopped up on Georgia Brews tasting event will be featured during First Saturday on River Street. The tasting event will be held on Saturday, November 7 from 2-6pm (live music until 8pm) and will feature offerings from over 20 Georgia Breweries, many of which are creating specialty brews specifically for this event. All inclusive VIP tickets are available and include unlimited tastings, access to special offerings, admission to educational talks given by the creative minds behind these Georgia Brew Houses, and a souvenir pilsner tasting glass.
