Get into the Halloween spirit with a unique adventure on the Halloween Estuary Trawl! Join our educators aboard the R/V Sea Dawg, a 43-foot trawler, for an exciting scientific collection trip.

🌊 Explore the Estuary: Sample the rich bottom communities of our tidal rivers and sounds. You never know what you might catch—sharks, rays, or burrfish could be lurking just beneath the surface!

🔬 Hands-On Learning: Participants will identify, sort, count, and record various species and environmental data collected during the trawl. Our knowledgeable educators will share insights about the natural history and ecological significance of the animals you encounter.

🕗 Check-In: Arrive at 8:45 AM for check-in at the UGA Aquarium. The boat departs promptly at 9:00 AM and will return at noon.

👦👧 Family Friendly: Children ages 10 and up are welcome but must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Important: Tickets are nonrefundable, and registration is required.
