Description: Experience the holiday season from a powerful new perspective with an immersive evening tour at the Davenport House Museum. Presented with Patt Gunn and Underground Tours’ Saltwata Players, this program explores what Christmas was like for the enslaved workers of the 1820s through song, dance, foodways, and spirituality. This moving and educational experience offers a deeper understanding of the season, honoring the stories and traditions of the enslaved community in historic Savannah.
