    Savannah Jazz Festival
    September 22-28

    The 38th annual Savannah Jazz Festival is a free week-long program of jazz music, jam sessions, and events, taking place in venues throughout the city and culminating in three nights of concerts in Savannah’s beautiful Forsyth Park. Featuring a mix of renowned jazz musicians, vocalists, and jazz bands from local schools, this festival is a musical celebration that facilitates world-class performances from local and international jazz artists alike.     Oktoberfest
    October 4-6

    Head to Savannah’s famous River Street to celebrate all things Oktoberfest this fall! Here you’ll find beers, brats, and the ever-popular wiener dog races.     SCAD Savannah Film Festival
    October 26 – November 2

    Get your passes now for this wildly popular annual event. Presented by the Savannah College of Art and Design, this eight-day festival is the largest university-run film festival in the world, and includes film screenings, panels, lectures, workshops, and special guests. Last year’s celebrity guests included Hugh Jackman, Emily Blunt, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Amandla Stenberg, among many others. Tickets for individual screenings and panels will be available starting October 1st.

    Savannah Food and Wine Festival
    November 4-10

    One of the city’s most popular annual events, the Savannah Food and Wine Festival always draws a crowd. Celebrating the South’s finest culinary professionals and winemakers, this festival offers mouth-watering events throughout the week. Get your tickets in advance for one (or more!) of the many events, including Whisky on the Water, Riverboat Luncheon Cruise, Jazz and Bubbles Brunch, or the River Street Stroll, among others. The main event is Taste of Savannah, taking place on November 9th at the Georgia State Railroad Museum.
