Savannah’s beauty is well-documented, and it’s easily one of the prettiest cities in the entire country. Of course, that means the Hostess City has its fair share of spots that are perfect for selfies. Whatever you do, make sure you visit these locations.

    Forsyth Park

The crown jewel of the city, no visit to Savannah is truly complete without paying a visit to Forsyth Park. The park is over 30 acres of greenery and oak trees in the Historic District and is a perfect space for all types of activities. Where you’ll want to go for your selfie is to the north end of the park for one of Savannah’s well-known spots: the Forysth Park fountain. As a bonus, if you’re in town for St. Patrick’s Day, you’ll be able to get a shot of the fountain when it’s green.

    Wormsloe Historic Site

Just about a 20-minute drive from the Historic District, Wormsloe Historic Site features the oldest standing structure in the Savannah. And while that piece of history is impressive in itself, it’s not what you’ll want the selfie with. Instead, it’s the iconic, scenic drive lined with live oaks that you’ll want to get a snap with. There’s a reason why this particular spot is featured in art, movies, postcards, and more.

Cathedral of St. John the Baptist

You can spot the spires of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist from nearly everywhere in the Historic District. This majestic piece of architecture located on Lafayette Square is a sight to behold, and once you see it in person, you’ll know immediately why you should snap a selfie with it.

    Tybee Island Lighthouse

Tybee Island is located about 18 miles from Savannah’s Historic District, but the snapshot you’ll get from the beach town is worth it. Buffered by a white picket fence and a lightkeeper cottage, the Tybee Lighthouse is the perfect backdrop for any selfie. And, if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, you can climb the 178 steps of the tallest and oldest lighthouse in the state of Georgia and take a selfie from the top with the ocean in the background.

    River Street

River Street presents plenty of options for that fantastic selfie. You can capture Savannah’s riverfront with the Talmadge Memorial Bridge in the background. If you’re lucky, you can also snap a selfie as a massive container ship passes by on the Savannah River. Prefer to take your selfie from the water? Catch a ride on the free ferry and you’re good to go. Lastly – and this comes with a caveat since the venue is for guests only – you can head up to rooftop bar of the Homewood Suites Savannah Historic District/Riverfront, rtb!
