    Ghost Coast Cocktail!

    1. Ghost Coast Distillery | 641 Indian St, Savannah, GA 31401
    Savannah natives are no strangers to hauntings, but there’s a new spirit in town with Ghost Coast Distillery’s opening in 2017. Visitors will enjoy a short, historical film and a behind the scenes tour of the distillery, topped off by a tasting of Ghost Coast’s Vodka 261. They also offer an orange-flavored version of the local vodka that’s ideal for a shaking up in a sweet cocktail, and their website features an array of refreshing recipes!

    2. Coastal Empire Beer Company | 79 Ross Rd, Savannah, GA 31405
    Coastal Empire Beer Company is craft beer at its best! With five year-round flavors inspired by the local area, Coastal Empire offers tours, tastings, and brews to go. The crisp, floral Tybee Island Blonde is the perfect beer for a summer afternoon at the beach. Starting September 1st, pints and flights will be available in the taproom!

    Service Brewing Co. was a labor of love for husband and wife team Kevin Ryan and Meredith Sutton. Offering tours, tastings, and seriously cute t-shirts, Service also gives back by supporting organizations that assist veterans and first responders. The Savannah Banana Beer, inspired by our local baseball team, hits it out of the park with a sweet, refreshing flavor!

    4. The Salt Table | 51 Barnard St, Savannah, GA 31401
    Feeling salty? The Salt Table’s flavor consultants are here to help! Owners Dave and Carol are passionate about Georgia Grown products. In addition to the shop’s wide array of homemade seasonings and local goods, you can try a selection of internationally award-winning wines, vinted and bottled in Georgia. With each tasting, you’ll take home a complimentary collector wine glass. Private tastings are also available after hours for parties of 12-18.

    Daufuskie Island Rum

    5. Daufuskie Island Rum Company | 270 Haig Point Rd, Daufuskie Island, SC 29915
    Just a 20 minute water taxi from Savannah, you’ll find Daufuskie Island, home to the Daufuskie Island Rum Company, which proudly labels itself The Most Inaccessible Rum Distillery in the US! There you can take a distillery tour and sample the rum that’s distilled, bottled, labeled, and packed by hand on the island. Back in Savannah, grab a Daufuskie rum cocktail at The Homewood Suites’ rooftop bar, RTB!, exclusively open to hotel guests.

    Once you’ve explored the numerous honey varieties offered at the Savannah Bee Company, sidle up to the bar for a $7 mead tasting. As the world’s oldest fermented beverage, mead comes in many flavors, and is often described as a cross between a beer and a champagne. For those with a sweet tooth, ask to try the X.R. Cyser – it’s like apple pie in a glass!

    7. Southbound Brewing Company | 107 E Lathrop Ave, Savannah, GA 31415
    Southbound Brewing Company holds the title of first production microbrewery in Savannah. In addition to guided tours and tastings, Southbound hosts local events like Pints and Poses Brewery Yoga and Cheers for Beers. Try the Picture of Nectar, a double IPA that pays homage to Georgia’s famous peaches with notes of citrus and spice. Don’t forget your souvenir koozie!

    8. Savannah Wine Cellar | 5500 Abercorn St, Savannah, GA 31405
    “Try before you buy” is the motto at Savannah Wine Cellar in Midtown. Self-service tasting machines offer 40 temperature-controlled varieties to help you find the wine that’s right for you! Stop in on the first Thursday of each month to take part in a hand-poured tasting that benefits local non-profits, and check their events calendar to sign up for a class in Wine 101.

    9. Moon River Brewing Company | 21 W Bay St, Savannah, GA 31401
    Moon River Brewing Company boasts a 5,400-square-foot, dog-friendly beer garden that’s the perfect place to enjoy a cold brew on a warm night in downtown Savannah. Try one of the many beers brewed on-site, like the grapefruity Slow-vannah IPA, paired with fresh-baked pretzel sticks and Bavarian bratwurst.     Looking to venture off the beaten path? Butterducks Winery is a charming oasis that’s just a 35-minute drive from downtown Savannah. Specializing in sweet wines, Butterducks offers 3 tasting options, custom gift baskets, and a peaceful patio for enjoying your purchases. The Super Sweet Sensational Strawberry is the perfect summer dessert wine!
