    When: July 4, 2026, 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM
    Where: River Street waterfront—including Rousakis Riverfront Plaza, Plant Riverside District & Eastern Wharf.

    This free, family-friendly event promises:

    • Live music across multiple venues: Plant Riverside District, The Park at Eastern Wharf, and Rousakis Riverfront Plaza.
    • A spectacular fireworks show, launched from a barge on the Savannah River around 9:30 PM, choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack. Best viewing from Riverfront Plaza, Eastern Wharf, and the Convention Center area.
    • Permitted items: Chairs and blankets welcome.
    • Restrictions: No coolers, glass, multiple cups, personal pyrotechnics, bicycles, skateboards, or disruptive behavior.
    • Getting There & Parking:
      • River Street closes to vehicles around 6:00 PM—plan accordingly.
      • Metered downtown parking is free on July 4.
      • Three new parking garages available:
        • River Street East Garage (620 East River Street)
        • Plant Riverside Garage (500 W River Street)
        • Eastern Wharf Garage (301 Passage Way)
