Savannah Jazz Festival
The 38th annual Savannah Jazz Festival is a free week-long program of jazz music, jam sessions, and events, taking place in venues throughout the city and culminating in three nights of concerts in Savannah’s beautiful Forsyth Park. Featuring a mix of renowned jazz musicians, vocalists, and jazz bands from local schools, this festival is a musical celebration that facilitates world-class performances from local and international jazz artists alike. SCAD Savannah Film Festival
October 26 – November 2
Get your passes now for this wildly popular annual event. Presented by the Savannah College of Art and Design, this eight-day festival is the largest university-run film festival in the world, and includes film screenings, panels, lectures, workshops, and special guests. Last year’s celebrity guests included Hugh Jackman, Emily Blunt, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Amandla Stenberg, among many others. Tickets for individual screenings and panels will be available starting October 1st.
Shalom Y’All Jewish Food Festival
This annual event presented by the Congregation Mickve Israel celebrates Jewish culture and heritage with traditional cuisine, music, and dancing. Bring the whole family to Monterey Square for a cultural culinary experience. You can purchase food tickets in advance at the temple office, or full price at the event to enjoy a variety of delicious Jewish delicacies like potato latkes, homemade challah, blintzes, and noodle kugel.
Savannah Food and Wine Festival
One of the city’s most popular annual events, the Savannah Food and Wine Festival always draws a crowd. Celebrating the South’s finest culinary professionals and winemakers, this festival offers mouth-watering events throughout the week.
