Atelier Galerie opened in 1997 as an alternative jewelry store for Savannah visitors and residents. For years, only traditional jewelry stores populated the Landmark Historic District. Atelier Galerie offers artisan created costume and fine jewelry. Atelier (meaning artist’s studio) provides studio space for the owner, Phyllis Lang, and her apprentices to produce her jewelry designs on the premises. Over 35 different artisans are represented in this establishment. A unique collection of handcrafted jewelry can be found here — a collection you won’t find anywhere else.
